This is the 10th consecutive year for Celebrate the Nativity (formerly the Maple Valley Crèche)! The event hosts over 600 nativities from around the world. Over 3,500 guests attended last year. The festival features a live nativity, an artistic display of the life of Jesus Christ, live music is performed throughout the event, and free family pictures with costumes available. Enjoy a family friendly display of over 500 nativities gathered from around the world and a sacred art gallery featuring framed art from the life of Christ. Live reenactment and reading of the Christmas story every 30 minutes and live musical performances by local schools, choirs and musicians. Includes nativity crafts, story time and dress up room, scavenger hunt, caroling sing-along and community outreach donations. Fri-Sat 9 a.m.-9 p.m., Sun 1-7 p.m.

  

Christ, the Savior is Born: Nativity – Federal Way

Begin the Christmas season enjoying hundreds of Nativity displays from around the world, artwork of the life of Christ, musical ensembles and family activities. The event is free to the public and runs from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 4 to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday. Gig Harbor Nativity Festival

This is the inaugural year of the Gig Harbor Nativity Festival, held on Dec. 6-8. All in the Gig Harbor and surrounding community are invited to participate in the celebration of the birth of the Jesus Christ through inspirational music and choirs from various churches, and depictions of the nativity from around the world. Live Nativity – Sammamish/Issaquah Plateau

Experience a little bit of Bethlehem with a live outdoor nativity. Shepherds, angels and wise men pay a visit to the manger. Performances are held every 20 minutes on Friday and Saturday, December 13-14th from 7-9 p.m. Last performance is at 8:45 p.m. Children are invited to visit with cast members and the real sheep during breaks. Inside the church, enjoy musical numbers, crèche displays and light refreshments. All are welcome.

Nativity Exhibit NW – Lake City

In its 22nd year, this Nativity event features more than 800 nativities from nearly 100 countries around the world. Some are intricate artworks, some are made from recycled items, some are made from food, some are funny, some try to make a point – all are fascinating. This is a great, free family event. The display moved from its previous location in Shoreline in 2012 after the collection grew too large. More>>

 

Outdoor Drive-Thru Christmas Story - Normandy Park

Enjoy a live Nativity this Christmas season. You and your family can be transported to Bethlehem while driving through the parking lot at Normandy Christian Church, between 6-8:30 p.m. Scores of volunteers, thousands of lights and full-size sets bring the Nativity story to life. On display will be live scenes of angels, shepherds, a donkey and goats, as well as guests at the inn, wise men, Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus. More>>

You’re invited to enjoy a live Nativity in its 18th annual re-enactments of the first Christmas night. Bring family and friends to the outdoor play under the stars. Sip hot cocoa as you watch the cast and animals including real llamas, sheep, goats, donkey and calf retell the tender story of the birth of Jesus.
